Ordering an Existing Track

1 Obtain legal copies of the arrangements from the Barbershop Harmony Society or directly from the arranger.
2 Order the learning tracks that you'd like through this website.
3 Upon receipt of payment, you will be prompted to download your purchase.
Note If you'd prefer to pay using a check, just send me an inquiry using the Email button next to the song you would like to order and I will send you an invoice. Once I get the payment, I'll send the tracks to you right away!

Requesting a Custom Track

1 Visit the Contact page and select Custom Track Order.
2 Enter contact information, desired completion date, and any additional information.
3 You will be contacted as soon as possible with confirmation or alternate arrangements.
Note I reserve "slots" in my track queue up to a year in advance. Due to a high volume of orders, turn around times can vary and may be many months away. Please try to plan ahead when ordering custom tracks. I will always quote the turn around time and will do my very best to be on time or even early!

Licensing Fees

Mechanical licensing fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. By purchasing learning tracks from timtracks.com, you agree to the responsibility of paying mechanical licensing fees for the copies that you make. You can learn about and pay mechanical licensing fees by going to the Harry Fox agency website (www.harryfox.com). Mechanical licensing fees are collected to pay royalties to the copyright owners. The current cost is 9.1 cents per copy and you must pay for a minimum of 25 copies. The minimum cost is $2.28 per song. The arranger owns the copyright on any public domain song. You will likely need to pay the copyright holder directly for public domain songs. Mechanical license fees are affordable and should be taken seriously. Please make your learning tracks legal.

How are my tracks delivered?

All Learning Tracks are delivered via Internet Download: Upon receipt of purchase you will be directed to download your purchase immediately.

Can you send me a CD?

Compact Disc - When CD delivery is necessary, I will deliver one master CD via the United States Postal Service with all tracks and a song list. The cost for CD delivery is $10.00 US.

What do I get for my money?

All orders include the following tracks for all voice parts:
  • Balanced Mix - This Track allows the listener to hear all of the parts properly blended together. This track will also give the listener the overall feeling and excitement of the arrangement.
  • Part Left - The designated voice part is placed on the Left Channel, the other parts are placed on the Right Channel. This track allows the listener the option of listening to only their part on the left speaker or singing along with the other parts on the right speaker. By adjusting the level of left/right speaker, the listener is able to hear their part at many different levels in relation to the other parts.
  • Part Predominant - This allows the listener to hear their part at a higher volume than the other parts so they can learn their notes while looking at the sheet music.
  • No Part - The designated voice part is completely missing from the track. This allows the listener to sing their part along with the other parts to strengthen knowledge of the music.

When do I pay?

Payment for custom tracks will be arranged approximately 2 weeks before the expected completion date.

Do I have to have PayPal?

No, you can pay with PayPal without having a PayPal account. Another option would be sending a check.
